I’ve seen this book around, and was excited to read it - but was very disappointed. Right from the outset, I found the writing poor and the characters lacked any dimension, aside from the fact everyone was fuelled on sex and alcohol. Nobody was likeable and the plot was minimal - just an alcoholic woman struggling through life. My least favourite read of 2024 so far.
