A Fire Endless

This was a bit disappointing. I loved the first book in this series and enjoyed being in this world with theses characters its a very cozy atmosphere.
This sequel just lacked for me with various info dumps, and a plot that similarly followed the one from the first book. I think this would've done well as a standalone. The elements that this attempt to tackle did not pay off well the relationships just felt disjointed. I probably could've gone without reading this one and been okay.
I still loved Ross is story and writing style. This to me just shows how far she has come in her story telling and I'm just sad this didn't land for me.
If you like slow moving, slice-of-life, magical worlds you may enjoy this.
If you found the first book to be hard to get through I would not recommend continuing.
If after the first book you were some what satisfied with the ending then maybe don't continue with this or just look up the ending and you'll be good.
