Kaiju No. 8, Vol. 4 by Naoya Matsumoto
5.0
Kaiju No. 8 continues to be a super fun, bombastic, yet emotional adventure.
We have the leader of the crew going head to head with a Kaiju, and things aren't looking good. He eventually works together with someone and they might be able to overcome certain death. But then the secret is out, and our hero might be exposed as a Kaiju to the world!
This is an exciting volume with some great fight scenes that are super easy to follow. Always a plus in my book. I also loved the emotional bits here, and felt for the main character and his crew, they're doing a great job giving us a true friendship feel here.
Overall it's fun, exciting, looks great, and has the emotional beats I hope for. A 4.5 out of 5.
