This sequel has much worse reviews than the first installment, but I actually think I liked it a bit more. I definitely rolled my eyes a few less times, and I thought the politics between the houses of Triton and Poseidon were interesting- though they could have definitely been explored more. The conflict did all seem to be resolved quite quickly, and all the paired-off romances were kind of annoying, but I didn't mind this book. I still don't think I'd reread it, and it's not going to make any of my favourite lists, but it's entertaining and an easy read.
