This is a weird book to rate. On the one hand, I was really invested in it and enjoyed reading. On the other hand, you have to suspend a lot of disbelief for this to work and I feel like it sometimes tends to be a bit dramatic.
You’re gonna like this book if you typically enjoy reading fanfiction, lgbt representation and seeing your characters getting put through the wringer (physically and emotionally). This book is probably the most fanfictionesque book I’ve ever read, which is not a bad thing to me since I love reading fanfiction, but it might be off putting to some.
