First of all the writing was really great but confusing. At some point i was rereading some paragraphs because i didnt understand what was happening and to who. Ofcource it might been the translators mistake because i was reading the greek version of the book so i cant blame the writer. The other thing i found a little bit weird i have to say, because it didnt bother me at all, was that the writer had some conversations like you were readind a script, for example: Zuzana: (talking) , well it was more easy that way to picture the conversation in my head so i loved it. AND OH MY GOD the way she handles the multiple points of view is amazing. It was so smooth and was making me understand immediately the characters feelings and thoughts and i knew what was happening like i was seeing a scene of a movie right there in front of me.

As for the story i wanted so much to like this book because of Angels and Chimaeras and a war is happening. On the contrary i was so bored in the first few pages. Then the Angel, Akiva, appeared and finally some action and some interesting stuff. The romance was so sweet and lovely and i was ready for more and more and more and more. But then everything ruined for me because

Karou was a chimaera but not any chimaera but she was Madrigal, Akiva's long lost lover. So all the connection and all the attraction was there only because they were already in love from Karou's previous life? NO NO NO NO I didnt sign up for this. Why you ruin a such wonderful romance? I wanted Karou and Akiva romance and how they fell in love, a forbidden love between a Chimaera and an Angel. It didnt even offer a full falling in love section for Madrigal and Akiva. It just was a fast forward and no details or anything. How can i make an OTP and a ship when you dont give me much to work to. I was so angry. I know i stand in the "romance" but it was supposed to be the main thing there, wasnt it?

AKIVA'S ACTIONS WAS SO NOOOOOOO. He killed the four chimaeras who was by their side and wanted peace. Akiva why you dont think. Finally though Karou appeared again, i love her so much more than Madrigal, like seriously. Now revenge AGAIN.

Really i dont know how to feel about this book because i dont know if i liked it but i didnt dislike it though. I want to read the next book ofcource but i dont have the need to read the next book and see what happens to the characters. It's like i dont care what will happen i just want to know how it ends. I just didnt connect with the characters like you should when you read a book.

Im sorry if i made anyone angry but this is MY opinion of the book.
