Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is one of my favourite books ever. It deserves the love it gets.
The book is a deep-dive into the life of a retired film star from the perspective of a journalist. It jumps between the life of the journalist that is questioning why she was chosen to write the story of one of the most famous movie stars, then too Evelyn Hugo and her seemingly glamorous life. It explores the story in parts, divided into each of Evelyn's husbands. Though the chapters are split into husbands I wouldn't say it was really about the husbands but more as a way to measure the time and mark points in my life. This book also includes some good queer rep with a Bisexual MC.
