Dark Clouds Over Nuala by Harriet Steel

2.0

Lovely characters, lovely setting, just not much of a mystery. There aren't clues to uncover or anything to work out--fully fleshed out information is presented generally truthfully by witnesses and the "surprise," telegraphed miles away, is that the honest disclosure of the facts of the case is prompted by an opportunity for vengeance rather than justice.

It was a fine story, just not what I want in a mystery.
