Christine has no memories. She wakes up every morning thinking she is younger and single. She wakes up with a strange man who says he is her husband. Christine has no memory.

At the beginning of the book she gets a call in the morning telling her that he is her psychiatrist and she should find her journal and read it. Turns out Christine is trying to get her mrmories back and sometimes doesn't think she should trust her husband.

As the story goes by it's clear there is something sinister happening, but we of course have no idea what since Christine has no idea.

The book is suspenseful through the entire book. It's like 50 First Dates as a thriller. If you ever wondered how that character felt every morning waking up this gives a good indication of how horrible it would be.
