The Body Is Not an Apology: The Power of Radical Self-Love by Sonya Renee Taylor

4.0

I listened to the audiobook read by the author. This is as much a guidebook for the reader as it is a primer on intersectionality and a memoir of Sonya Renee Taylor's own journey. It comes across as preachy at times, but honestly, with all of the negativity we hear about ourselves and our bodies, especially for people are part of marginalized communities, we deserve to be preached at in a positive way instead of made to feel inadequate.
