Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid
3.0
I could see certain Hollywood 'cheating spouses' who could fit some of the clichés in the book.
There were elements of the style of writing similar to the other book of Reid's that I had read: Daisy Jones and the Six.
Don't get me wrong, Reid makes her characters three-dimensional so you do feel a little absorbed by the story (a good thing of course)...but sometimes, some of the characters feel like they were spread a lil' thin and thus, some elements were more interesting than others... some even felt like they were written with a familiar formula like I hinted at earlier.. so that's where I partially felt like same **** different day. But like they say, if you find a formula that works....
