In the Gray
by B.B. Reid
I gave this a 3 star….
Cons first—Honestly I barely got past the 16 year age gap—the girl being a TEENAGER…..Then the possible incest??? Even with the ending and us finding out he’s NOT the father, it was still weird as hell to me. I also didn’t like the insta love. It was the weirdest book I’ve ever read and I probably wouldn’t recommend to anyone because I’m sure they’d look at me crazy after reading it.
Pros— Again, putting aside the ages, I loved the spice BEFORE shit hit the fan…(except the threesome and golden shower, it was an unnecessary part of the story for me) i liked the love dialogue and how Owen didn’t play about her and romanced her with the dinner, making sure her mom was good and his love confessions.
I went into this read completely blind, not having read the back or looked it up anywhere. It was recommended to me as a similar story to demons dream. And in conclusion, I wouldn’t go as far to say that. The only similarities are that it’s urban romance and Atlas and Dream were virgins. That’s about it
