When I heard there was an Ex Hex #2, I was so stoked because of the absolute chokehold Ex Hex had on me during my first and second reads. Then I heard it was about Gwyn & Wells, and I was admittedly a bit confused. I absolutely loved Gwyn, the badass she is, and Wells seemed like such a random match for her. Then I read the book and of course they’re perfect for each other, how did I not see it before? They work. Like, really, really well. Like Ex Hex, this book was funny, cute, steamy, had a decent mystery plot, and the Halloween vibes were immaculate. I laughed more than once, and the gracious Sirr Purrcival content had me smiling. My only complaint (besides a selfish want for more Rhys, but that’s a whole other post) was that the ending seemed kind of rushed. A lot of build-up, a surprising reveal….and then it’s over. Still, Graves Glen is magical and I’m glad I got to visit again.
