woobat 's review for:
Auntie Poldi and the Sicilian Lions
by Mario Giordano
The plot of the book was perfectly fine, but the true stars of the book were the characters (particularly Poldi) and the setting. Poldiās outrageousness was just on the edge of being too much, but for the most part she was believable and sympathetic.
