False Gods by Graham McNeill
4.0
False Gods had the unfortunate task of following up the masterclass that was Horus Rising, and while it doesn't quite hit the same highs, its still a very worthy follow up. Getting to see more of these characters I love having to adapt to the even more severe changes that come within this book was very interesting to read.
Now the weakest part of this book is Horus, his fall is rapid and severe, but considering that this was supposed to just be the trilogy I understand why it had to be that way. That being said the reasoning behind his fall is solid, we just didn't have enough time to see Horus feeling the way he does to make it feel believable.
Also fuck Erebus, all my homies hate Erebus.
