I liked this book. Like a lot. But something was missing for me. The whole plot is Tara trying to reach out to her exes because she's desperate. And one thing that I hate is second-chance. They're exes for a reason (as Trevor said 😏). And she's been trying to go on all of those dates but was picky because they "changed". Yea no shit. People change in 10+ years. She also chickened out often. Chickens out and runs into Trevor's loving arms (he's head over heels for her). And she's still like yeaaa, we're strictly platonic.

I love the fact that Tara is a bookworm. Feels very relatable. Having BookTok and Bookstagram, having reading goals, reading mafia yada yada ya. (Literally me). The thing I loved about Trevor is that he fully supported her book obsession.-
"Watcha reading now?" "Still on that mafia romance?" "You finished your reading goals for the day" etc.
He also rearranged her books when she left them messy after doing a book stack challenge.
There's just so many things that scream book bf material with Trevor. I need a Trevor in my life. Honesty, if my manz doesn't propose to me like Trevor proposed to Tara I'mma be pissed. Like fuck no.

Overall, very enjoyable book. Friends to lovers, but most importantly, roomates to lovers (my fav). But the book would've been better if they acted like adults sooner. 🙌
