This is the final book in the Whiskey Creek series, but as the previous book was published in 2016 you would be ok to read this as a standalone.
However, it could have benefitted from being a bit of a longer story. I had a difficult time believing in the romance itself as I felt our two main characters Aja and Grady didn't spend enough time together to fall in love.
I did like both Aja and Grady as characters and I loved the dating show aspect of the book itself. It was a quick romance, but still a very enjoyable book.
