Cozy, Sweet, and Full of Surprises!

Whatever I was expecting from this book, it wasn't a cozy fantasy. But I was pleasantly surprised! It's the kind of book you read curled beneath a blanket with a cup of tea (which is exactly what I did).

Davidson's descriptions leave you with a movie playing out in your head as you read. Everything from the setting to the characters came to life in my head and stayed there. Reva is a strong FMC with a mysterious past even she doesn't understand but she's tough and determined, making it easy to cheer for her. Fin, the MMC, is a sweetie and the ultimate cinnamon roll. He does worry me a little at how easy he caves into pressure, and it makes me wonder what's in store for him. Especially with that ending! I think hard times are coming for our boy!

If you're looking for a fun read filled with likable characters you want to see succeed, mysteries galore and a cozy atmosphere, Darkness Comes Again is for you!
