A Substitute Wife for the Prizefighter by Alice Coldbreath

5.0

Yes! Yes! Yes!!! This book is exactly what I wanted! It took everything I loved from the first book in the series and kept it (big, protective, strong silent hero entering a marriage of convenience with a prim and proper woman he barely knows) and improved on the things that bothered me about that first book: mainly that the first book did not have dual POV, so we never got to see what the hero was thinking. This book DOES have a dual POV and it just makes everything so much better! It’s so important to have an insight into a character that’s so stoic and quiet and introspective like the heroes in this series are! I said that the first book would’ve been five stars if not for that narration issue and this, THIS, is five stars!!!
