Not for me, i found the story rambling and while there were bits that peaked my interest. It couldn't hold it between lengths of seemingly disjointed and pointless bits of the story that went no where. Im normally a character reader but there just was nothing to hold me in the story. I can see why its a classic and beloved but did not meet my tastes
