I did not like the writing style at all. It was very awkward and at times, confusing. The pace was extremely slow and the ending did not justify it whatsoever (to me). I’m going to be honest, the premise of the book DID seem interesting and that’s why I finished it. But honestly, I wasn’t creeped out by the elk head woman. I didn’t feel any sense of dread, premonition, or fear. I don’t understand why this is considered horror.
