This is a solid book. I didn't like it as much as A Song of Achilles, but I really liked getting to know more about Circe. She's a witch goddess and I didn't know anything about her before I started this. She's really cool! I like the way that Miller explores her character in this book and how she grows. There are several connections to other myths and big names in Greek myths which is enjoyable too.

I just found the book to be a little too slow for me at times and I'm not as big into Greek mythology which is what pulled this down below 4 stars for me. But, those are my own personal opinions and tastes and if those work for other people, I totally see why some give 5 stars!
