Empire of Bones by N.D. Wilson

This was fun and very exciting, I felt less impressed with the creative mythology woven in (the Celtic goddesses were good, but who was Wrath and Justice? And I'm not sure why Radu Bey gets to be the supreme bad guy of all mythological history, out of all the possible choices in the world: not one of the horrible Hindu gods? Not a bloodthirsty Assyrian or Aztec deity? Anyways...) And this one felt more like we were just throwing deus ex machinas in to solve unsolveable problems. Definitely an exciting book, and some really really cool scenes, but I felt some let-down over that stuff.
