I really love all of Darcy Coates haunted house books.
Yes, they are all very similar in a lot of ways.
But I still love them anyway because they all have a new twist and different characters. I honestly didn't care for Mara, I think she was a little bit mean and didn't deserve Neil but overall she was just a person who had been through a negative past and didn't want it to effect what she built herself.
I think it's a GREAT read if you love haunted houses.
One thing I wish we could have more in Darcy's books though was more of a backstory to all the previous killings that happened in the house. Other then that I think this was one of her better books!
