Gwad! Did you read the summary? If you didn't, then do it. The summary was good, right?
I was so glad when I got this book and received it in the mail. Finally, I could start reading it!

The beginning was really good, it got my attention right a way. Books that start like that are like heaven to me, especially since my patience is small. The action started right away and it was never a dull moment. I felt it tingling in my stomach many times, who can you trust and who can't be trusted? Mystery and thriller books are great!

Gould writhing was easy and funny. There were moments when I found myself laughing over a character monologue. But the writing style was also exciting and I have to admit, I didn't know who the culprit was until the end, and I usually figure that out very fast.

The plot was absolute fantastic, the twisting action and exciting moments were amazing. The way Brett Tanager manage to find the truth in that dark twisted world was great. It was moments were I had to lay down the book, not because it was boring, but because it was so exciting that I just had to breathe a few minutes before continuing.

Brett Tanager was not that typical superwoman you find in many books. She was drug and alcohol addicted, her life was dark and she thought of suicide many times, and she couldn't even defend herself. She was so down to earth and really smart. Brett was just a normal person, but still she was so cool!
Mike was that type of character I like, he was real and so nice to Brett. Coldwater was what I would say a realistic book.

The ending was good, Gould finished the book off really smooth and nice. Left me smiling and happy, though I hope for a sequel, I doubt it, but I still hope.
