I don’t know whether it was because this was my first audiobook or if it’s truly that this book just WASN’T for me but I struggled to finish this. I felt like this dragged on when I just really wanted the book to progress in linear order. It was as if they said
“Here’s a story about a dog.”
*long exposition about the dog*
“Here’s a story about a dog AND a cat”
*retell the previous story about the dog but also now the cat*
Etc. etc. etc.
I wanted to like this book but I just really wanted it to end so it could get to the point.
