Until It Was Love
by Pippa Grant
medium-paced
I’m not going to lie. I picked this book up as a joke between my friend and I. I made a comment that I wanted to see if there were any rugby romances out there and she sent me this. I was immediately sold from the subtitle “Copper Valley Pounders” (yes, I sometimes have the humor level of a 12 year old boy) and added it to my kindle. It wasn’t until I was on a 10 hour flight and finished my other book an hour into it that I even thought about reading it. And to my surprise, I absolutely loved it.
The witty dialogue was amazing and I loved the back and forth between the FMC & MMC. I also appreciated the older lady besties and their affinity for hilarious obituaries. It was literally all I could do to not giggle out loud or kick me feet while stuck on the plane for endless hours. The men in the book are refreshingly aware and emotionally mature and the spicy scenes were definitely open door albeit a little tame in my humble opinion. Such a good book and I can’t recommend it enough!
