Jenna is 18 and on her own for the first time. She lives with Merle and Caro, two of her closest friends. When a young woman is found murdered, the girls are concerned but continue their lives. Then Caro goes missing and her body is found in the same way as the other three. Jenna and Merle are determined to find the murderer. Nate is sure he's been careful, but he's worried the police are on to him. Caro seemed like the perfect girl but she disappointed him. Now he has new prey...Jenna.

The book was originally written in German then translated to English. It took awhile to get into, especially since the focus changes between characters often and we switch from 3rd person to 1st. About halfway through it picks up, but I'm not sure it would appeal to teens.
