iryska 's review for:
Blood on Satan's Claw: Or, the Devil's Skin
by Robert Wynne-Simmons
I suppose I am going to reppeat myself like the other reviewers by saying that this book is written by someone who doesn't write books. It's written like a film rather than a book.
The story would have so much more impact if there were more descriptions. The first half of the book is boring so if there were more descriptions it would make the scary moments even more scary and the first half would be more interesting.
Once over the hump, the story gets very intense and I found myelf glued to the book.
Jumping from character to character was confusing at times. Regardless of it I wish I could see more of Angel's perspective, what exactly happened in the woods.
Regardless of it all, I still find it a good book.
I didn't see the film but I suppose I should watch it now.
