One of my favourite reads of the year!
This was one of the best books I have read this year. Dystopian sci-fi romance, perfect if you loved playing/watching Fallout, but wanted a romance in the story!
Our FMC is incredibly likeable, she’s not typically strong, but she’s quietly sassy and learns her strength in other ways.
Our MMC is flawed, layered, and excellent. I love the little sprinkles of information we get about him throughout, knowing that there’s more to come where he’s concerned!
The found family aspect was brilliant, our side characters all have their own personalities, and I loved them all, ESPECIALLY WINNIE!!! Winnie!!!
There was a moment at around the 80% mark where my jaw was on the floor, like did that just happen?!?! Whattttt?!
This was such a refreshing read for me, totally different from anything I have read in such a long time, and I ate the whole thing up.
The writing is exquisite - I highlighted so many passages and I really thought the wording was quite beautiful.
I’m really excited to see where this goes!
