just checking to see if this is still my favourite book of 2024
it is. see you all in february when i inevitably read this for the third time in an act of mental illness
30/1/24
emily wilde's encyclopaedia of faeries was my favourite book of 2023, and going into this i was so worried that book 2 wasn't going to be able to capture the magic of book 1
but then i got 5 pages in and read that wendell gave emily a painting of shadow for one of her birthdays and my brain lit up like a christmas tree
