I’m going to be real here for a second…I love me some Cora Carmack because I know when I read her books I’m going to get an extra large dose of sexy times! The woman knows how to write a steamy scene with sexy boys that will make your pulse race a little quicker and you’re guaranteed to blush. If you read this book in public, just know that everyone once in a while you’ll sheepishly look up from your book to see if anyone is in on your little secret. All that being said, this is definitely a New Adult book and should be reserved for more mature readers.

I’m a huge fan of the Rusk University series, and All Played Out did not disappoint! Just like All Lined Up and All Broke Down, this third installment of the series delivers lots of humor, realism and some ridiculously steamy moments. Just the way I like it!

Everything worked for me in this book! Did I love it as much as All Broke Down? No, but that’s because my love for Silas burns like the fire of a thousand suns. Yup, I’ve got the Silas Virus…and I’ve got it BAD! All that being said though, I really liked this book. It was the perfect New Adult and another touchdown in the Rusk University series! Ohhh…see what I did there? Touchdown…football! I’m so witty!

There were a lot of moments that gave me plenty of feels, but I can’t really go into detail about those because I like to keep my blog somewhat PG-13! Let’s just say that Torres certainly brings Nell out of her shell and helps her to confront some hard truths in her life, and also her more, ummmm, sensual side! LOL! The moment that gave me the most feels though, was when the two are out exploring campus late at night and have a pretty intense discussion while walking through a tunnel. It was heart-wrenching and honest and my heart broke for both Torres and Nell. Like I said earlier, Cormack likes to keep it real in her novels and I really appreciated how she doesn’t make everything all sunshine and rainbows. Even if it makes me weepy sometimes.

I REALLY, REALLY ENJOYED THIS LATEST INSTALLMENT OF THE RUSK UNIVERSITY SERIES AND IF YOU’RE A FAN OF THE FIRST TWO BOOKS, THEN YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO PICK THIS ONE UP AND DEVOUR IT TOO!
