I had such a fun time reading this! It was fast-paced right from the first chapter and kept me coming back every time I set it down. I loved Elara and Enzo as main characters and was obsessed with their banter and flirting. I love how obviously down bad Enzo was the entire time, and omg the spicy scenes between them were written so well. I also really enjoyed the magic system in this world. I loved learning about each of the different stars, their abilities, and expanding even further into the world's magic origins later on in the book.
There were so many good concepts and ideas in this book, but I did feel as though the pacing was a little sporadic. I think some of the major plot twists at the end could have been introduced earlier in the story to have a bigger impact beyond the shock factor. There were also a few characters that I wish could have been further developed to have the emotional impact that was intended. I also thought Elara and Enzo's relationship could have developed a bit slower at the beginning, but I still enjoyed their romance throughout the book.
Overall, I really enjoyed these characters and the world-building. I will definitely be coming back for book two and am very curious to see where these characters go next!
