Planet Zero by Lydia Hope

Good world building, but the main problem i had with this book is it wasn't really polished. My second issue was one of the themes; birth control/bodily autonomy. I took real issue with a nurse not respecting bodily autonomy. I don't care what the circumstances of the particular character was, they had every right to want to control when they wanted to get pregnant or not. Addie being judgmental about it was very off putting.

One thing I always enjoy with Hope's books is they aren't the fated mate trope that is so over used in alien romances. I also like that the aliens have different ways they show they care. I feel like an alien race wouldn't be openly saying things like, "i love and adore you" so i find it nice that the aliens aren't overly romantic.
