Such an interesting read! Small but mighty! I picked this up for some research, and it is a treasure trove of information, as well as a peek at a piece of historical Appalachian life that will be invaluable to a project I’m working on. Jake’s commentary on these old words is incredible. Highly recommend if you’re curious about old Appalachian remedies and folk magic.
