This was definitely not my favorite Empyrean book. To me, this felt like a classic bridge book - filling in details but mostly not moving the story forward. I didn't like the increase in sex scenes between book 2 and book 3 and I felt like there was nothing in this book that really "hooked" me. However, I still love the characters in this story and am excited to see what comes next. I'll definitely continue reading it, but I think this is a frontrunner for my least favorite.
