This book is such a breath of fresh air. A truly original concept that has been grasped so perfectly by Shusterman who swallowed the bite that many would've found too tough to even chew.

I do have gripes with this book, it is in no way perfect, -  particularly with how Citra was written initially - but after reading one of (if not the) most gripping, perfect ending to an incredible plot, I find myself not caring much about it.

A perfect set-up for book 2 which I am very certain I will enjoy even more than this one; it's already being snatched from my shelf.
