oh. my. god. i don’t think i’ve ever been so invested in a character’s life before but damn. i loved the way it was written, i’ve read elizabeth acevedo’s poet x and loved it and was not disappointed by this one bit. THE FOOD is immaculate and it’s just so creative and beautiful this book is just perfect and parts of the book REALLY hit home
