Love the author. Love the story line and the first chapter had me hooked. But I got lost in Egypt. And then I ended up not liking the main character at all. Normally this author throws me for a loop and the end of her novels are so unpredictable, but not this one. I was actually hoping for an unpredictable ending. Still would have been a 4, but I just got lost on all the Egypt stuff. The writing was lovely and for sure it’s a 3.5, but just didn’t like the main character and was hoping for a different ending. Still recommend!
