Out of the three, Isla and the Happily Ever After felt the most emotional and introspective. Isla is shy, overthinking, and deeply insecure which made her super relatable, even if a little frustrating at times. Her relationship with Josh was intense, fast-paced, and filled with all the highs and lows of first love.
What I appreciated most was how raw it felt. It wasn’t just about romance, it was about self-worth, fear, and learning how to love yourself, too. Josh had more depth here than I expected, and their chemistry was sweet and believable.
Some parts dragged or felt overly angsty, but overall, it gave me the most feels of the trilogy. A tender, heartfelt wrap-up that shows love isn’t always a straight line, but it can still be real, messy, and worth it.
