The Fishing Lesson by Heinrich Böll

3.0

There is an old joke about a tourist trying to persuade a fisherman to work harder.

The punch line, is, that if he works hard, all his life, he can retire and going fishing in the very village that the tourist is visiting.

It is a good joke, and the book plays on it.

And a good lesson for kids, I suppose, that perhaps life isn't all about unbridled ambition, to get to their final goal.

Not sure how tis would play with most industrialized countries.

Cute enough presentation.
