Found myself answering “it’s complicated” to each question about this book because that’s exactly what it is- complicated.
Loved the spice level and definitely had moments my jaw was on the floor. Found Adeline’s POV to be much more enjoyable to read as Zade’s was a bit cringy and unrealistic in certain things he said and big punchlines- I audibly laughed when he was trying to be intimidating and said “I have the memory of an elephant”… I think if someone said that to me i’d be on the floor rolling, big scary man or not.
Obviously lots of trigger warnings for this book, but was overall impressed with spice level, plot lines, themes, etc. Just had some issues with a lot of the dialogue/writing from his perspective (which admittedly would be very hard to write).
