Pack Plus Three
by Melissa Huxley
This was very mid as far as enjoyability. It wasn't bad, but I don't know if I'd want to read more by this author. I know that every author's version of Omegaverse varies in some ways but a few things in this one made me think "I don't think that can happen" as far as overarching aspects go. The premise was cute, an abandoned pregnant omega (the abandoned thing was one... I could be wrong but in every single one I've read where one got pregnant, the Alpha's instincts kick in and what to protect and become possessive whereas this one the guy was apparently all whatever about it) smells delicious food coming from her neighbor's apartment and knocks on the door to ask if she can eat some cuz nothing has sounded good to her or stayed down. They meet, she meets his pack one by one, something happens and she ends up staying at their house. I'm not mad I read it but the pacing felt kind of odd even for a slow burn, and then there were some things that went unanswered for me and that annoys me when I know it's a standalone.
