This was a spy and political thriller story...set in the Post-Nemesis era...and the closing of the Typhon Pact series.

The author balanced and kept a number of storylines moving foward, as the main story showed to me, the reader...that I am so grateful to not be anywhere near spies and the lives they live. Ugh.

Like Beverly Crusher, I could not/nor want anything to do with this sphere (better or worse people do this work).

I felt for the Typhon Pact race called the 

I felt for and understand what Neta Efheny went through on her mission, and the desire for this life (not something I'd like for myself, but for her...and what she'd been through...I get it.

Captain Ezri Dax and Captain Jean Luc Picard were used as chess pieces...in this spyware world.

I am really glad that this author, Una McCormack was able to make a satisfying end to the series, but also do justice to a very intricate story.

I wonder how everyone who's read this book...thinks about it. I really enjoyed it, and would love to talk to others about my thoughts.
