Unfortunately, most of these stories did not resonate with me. Petrified, It Stays with you, and The burning one really stuck with me, but overall, this collection is more depressing than frightening.
I didn't feel like most of these stories even had a resolution. They kind of just ...end?
And I wouldn't really call most of these folk horror, definitely more akin to urban legends. A lot of underdeveloped characters I feel like most of this entire collection would've been better as novellas with a little more space to explain the stories.
