The Library: A Fragile History by Andrew Pettegree, Arthur der Weduwen

informative inspiring reflective slow-paced

4.5

This book took me FOR EVER to read, it’s exceptionally dense and packed with the kind of language you’d find in a journal or a scientific report. I learned a lot, that’s for sure. I will definitely come back to dig into some of the references and citations (the full final 20% of the book by page count). I definitely highlighted many thought provoking passages and found some very interesting details - it’s just not something I would recommend if you’re looking for something engaging and snappy.
