Kissing Girls on Shabbat: A Memoir
by Sara Glass
emotional
funny
hopeful
inspiring
reflective
sad
medium-paced
This book was incredible. Whilst it’s a memoir, Glass’s storytelling ability almost feels like fiction. The book is extremely moving and inspiring and has a good natural flow to it.
I really like how much Glass talks about her relationships with her sisters, especially Shani, just as much as her romantic relationships. I would love a part 2 to this memoir. Maybe an ode to lesbianism and beyond.
