This was awesome! A fantastic world has been created with intriguing and fascinating characters. I was totally into it!
There was a lot going on and being laid out. So many different characters were in play and being introduced as well as other storylines, I couldn't read fast enough as I absorbed this new world. There was drama and intensity, mystery and a nice amount of passion. I love all the other worldly elements that were learned and how everything came together. I feel like I need a chart to remember who is who because there were a lot of warriors and demons in play. It's a lot at once but it's still awesome.
Loved Maddox and Ashlyn. Really interesting characters dealing with different types of turmoil. They had an electric attraction. I loved the push and pull between the two as everything built and their story played out. I felt for both of them so much, the different pains they endured. The end was heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time.
I am so excited I finally started their series, I'm just sorry it took me so long. It's hard to explain with everything that was going on but I thought it all was great. Love the story, details, all the different warriors. Interesting world. I love a good paranormal romance and I think a fantastic foundation was laid for more stories in this series filled with sexy warriors. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
