Is Tori the most lovable main character? No, but she’s believable and even though I wish it wasn’t true, I can see myself in her. I know what it’s like to have such a fucked up mind. To be alone even when surrounded by people and to feel like you don’t deserve them. I’m fucked up like that too.

I would go on and write more about Tori, but I don’t want to cry in front of my grandparents, so we’ll move on to the things that i don’t like. The Solitaire plotline wasn’t my fav tbh. I know it’s the main plot, but it just felt a bit extreme to me and I can see why people wouldn’t like this book because of this.
Also this book isn’t a romance book. It’s insulting to say it is. Storygraph do better because that’s just not the point of this book. Yes it has a little romance in this, but that’s not the point (it would have been better left out imo. Was hoping for them to just be friends). It isn’t about romance. It’s about mental health and the struggles of growing up in a society like ours (and way more).
