- Plot- or character-driven? A mix
- Strong character development? It's complicated
- Loveable characters? No
It seems like lately I've been choosing books that I can't rate. It's hard to try to rate this kind of book, because it's horrifying to even think that THIS still continues to happen somewhere. This is multiple realities. How does one rate that? How can one simply say that this book is sooo good when the plot itself is hard to digest?
The writing style was not really my thing, the characters aren't loveable. It should've dwelved more into the themes, not sure if I can say that it is at the same time a superficial description and gives a small glimpse into the deep cruelty and self preservation and own interests of human beings. It is frustrating.
